The pitch

The next evolution of roleplay.

For years it has been nothing more than wishes and make believe that Multiplayer Cyberpunk would reach a level capable for roleplay server to be born. Open77 finally shattered the seal and opened the floodgates, enabling an incredible Multiplayer platform. That's where we stepped in. Utilising this new platform we have been developing our own server upon it, tirelessely working to push Open77 to the limits in pursuit of our dream.

Identity

Nobody knows your name

No nameplates, ever. A stranger stays "Stranger" until you introduce yourself — with your real name, a street name, or a lie. You keep your own private labels for the people you have met, and your SIN card is the only thing that proves anything. Lying about who you are is a mechanic, not an exploit.

Consequence

Down, not dead

Zero health is a FLATLINING overlay and a five-minute clock, not a respawn button. Call Trauma Team and hope someone is on shift. Wake at a clinic instead and it costs a quarter of the cash on you plus a €$250 bill — and the New Life Rule takes the memory of whoever put you there.

Economy

One economy, no grind

There are no levels and no XP bars. There is work, crime, rent, invoices and other people. Eurodollars move between real accounts — a gig, a scrap run, a bar shift, a fine, a robbery — and progress is measured in contacts, reputation and what you can afford to lose.

Authority

The city keeps score

Inventory, ownership, licences, jail time, chrome and humanity all live on the server, not in your client. Staff can see what happened because the city recorded it. That is what makes stakes possible: nothing here resets because somebody alt-F4'd at the wrong moment.

What's running

The systems you will actually touch

Built as Lua resources on Open77 and driven from one action wheel: press F4 and pick. You should never have to memorise a command to play.

Identity

SIN cards issued at a Citizen Registry kiosk that takes your photo. Driver, business and weapon licences printed onto it. Introductions, aliases, and private names for the people you remember.

Body

Food, water and stress that drain over hours, not minutes. Chrome you can install, and humanity you spend to get it. Cheap fixes have a cost.

Work

Gigs, scrapping, freight runs, bar shifts, taxi and mechanic call-outs, meters and invoices. Clock on with /duty and get paid by people, not by a script.

Money

Cash on you, and a bank account that is not. ATMs, shops, transfers, invoices, and classified ads for everything that is not sold over a counter.

Property

A megabuilding flat of your own through the realtor's counter. Somewhere to store what you cannot carry, change your clothes, and shut a door behind you.

Vehicles

Bought from a dealer, registered to your name, locked with L, and still there tomorrow. Nomads arrive with one already.

NCPD

A real job. Cuffs, searches, seizures, fines, jail terms, licence revocation, and an MDT to look people up. On duty, on the record.

Trauma Team

Medics who have to be called, have to arrive, and will bill you for the privilege. Somebody's life depends on somebody else being awake.

The streets

Gangs with turf, store robberies, hands-up standoffs. Crime worth doing because it is worth losing — and because the NCPD is a person, not a bot.

Comms

The Agent phone, Chirp posts, radio frequencies, 911 and 311 dispatch, the classifieds, and voice that carries at a whisper, a word, or a shout.

Roleplay tools

/me, /do, local OOC, an emote menu, hands up, and an ALT context menu on whoever or whatever is in front of you.

Staff

Role-based permissions, an audit trail, in-game reports, and staff who play here too. Decisions get explained, not just applied.

Onboarding

Your first night in Night City

STEP 01

Get the game and the client

Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, plus the Open77 client that turns it into a multiplayer platform. Then connect to our address — both are posted in the community.

STEP 02

Prove you read the rules

Entry is a rules page you have to read to the bottom and a five-question quiz on the things that actually ruin scenes: the New Life Rule, metagaming, powergaming. Get one wrong and it shows you the rule you missed. It takes two minutes, and it keeps the city out of the hands of people who would not bother.

STEP 03

Pick a handle, then pick a life

An out-of-character handle for staff and OOC chat, then a character: Street Kid, Corpo or Nomad. Your lifepath decides what you start with and nothing else — no stat bonuses, no locked content. Up to three characters per account.

STEP 04

Arrive with nothing much

A phone, something to eat and drink, a bandage, your lifepath's clothes and money, and a short "New in Night City" checklist down the side of the screen. F4 opens the action wheel, F1 is help and rules, ALT interacts with whoever is in front of you. Then go and find out who you are.

The spine of it

Five rules hold the whole city up

The full rulebook is in game under F1 → Rules, and you will be quizzed on it before you spawn. These five are the ones we enforce hardest, because breaking them does not hurt you — it ruins somebody else's night.

  1. Stay in characterIn-character channels are in character. Take the argument to LOOC, to OOC, or to a report — never into the scene.
  2. Value your lifeYour character wants to live. Act like someone with a gun in their face, not like someone with a respawn button.
  3. No metagamingWhat you heard on a stream, in a call or in OOC does not exist. Your character knows only what your character learned.
  4. No powergamingDo not force outcomes on other people with /me. Give them the chance to react, to lose, or to surprise you.
  5. New Life RuleWake up at the clinic and the last half hour is gone. No revenge, no returning to the scene, no "I remember your face".

Where we are

Built, and opening in waves

We would rather tell you the truth than a launch trailer. The city is standing, the core is live on the server right now, and the founding wave is small on purpose: the first hundred stories set the tone for every one after them.

Live

The whole core loop

Onboarding and the whitelist gate, identity, inventory, money and banking, needs, jobs, housing, vehicles, NCPD, Trauma Team, gangs, comms, chrome, and the staff tooling behind all of it.

In testing

The depth passes

Emergency-service polish, the economy's second layer, world events, and the long tail of things that only surface once real players lean on them. Founding members shape this directly.

On the roadmap

Netrunning

Quickhacks and netrunning wait on the platform's hacking layer. The moment Open77 ships it we are ready — we are not going to fake it with a minigame in the meantime.

Jack in

The city is taking applications

Bring a character, not a build. Come with something you want to find out about them, and we will give you a city cruel enough to answer.
